Dr. Cleo Molina is an educator whose life-long quest for understanding cultural differences is rooted in her bilingual and bicultural upbringing. Stories told by her Mexican and midwestern Anglo grandparents, parents and extended family members fostered in her a deep-seated curiosity about the impact of language and culture on how children understand and navigate the various worlds that shape them. She has written primarily for the academic and faith-based sectors and is now focusing on capturing her own multicultural history and spirituality in poetry and fiction. She lives in Tukwila, Washington with her husband and the elderly poodle she inherited from her mother who made her promise to… take care of Bonnie (the poodle) and to tell her story. THE ONLY LIVING CAVEWOMAN YOU WILL EVER MEET is her first effort at telling her mother's remarkable story.
